DALLAS, TX—Residents of Highland Springs, an Erickson Living retirement community in North Dallas, cheered on Michael Young and Josh Hamilton during the 9-run 3rd inning that propelled the Texas Rangers to a World Series-clinching victory.
They’ll take it one step further by celebrating this incredible season with a Rally for the Rangers, to be held on Wednesday, October 19th at 4pm.
Residents of Highland Springs will don their red and blue colors to cheer on the hometown team for the World Series opener.
These passionate fans will lead cheers, reminisce about their favorite moments from the memorable 2011 season and urge the Rangers on to victory over the St. Louis Cardinals.
And community resources manager Barbara Blachly will introduce the Wash Dance to residents in celebration of two-time AL pennant-winning manager Ron Washington.
